WHY WE CREATED TRAVION

Two ladies Karla and Andrea founded Travion because they wanted to make a difference. Karla, who comes from an aircraft management background knows first hand the needs and expectations of flight operations departments. Andrea, as part of a well-established flight support company, has witnessed the pain and frustration felt by operators.

Together they decided to set a new standard for customer service. They aim to bring simplicity to your life and your business. Capitalizing on their many years in aviation they have learned what clients and partners want and perhaps more to the point what they don’t want.

The heartbeat of any organization like Travion is its operations center so we will make sure we have the right kind of people as members of our team. We aim to attract people who are the very best in their field and who share our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Karla Deir
Karla DeirManaging Director
Karla graduated from Reading University and it was not long before she set her sights on the executive aviation business. She was most recently the Director of Business Development for a UK based aircraft operations company. Her experience in aviation has been first hand through working in all flight operations disciplines.

She brings to Travion the knowledge and expertise from an aircraft operators point of view capitalizing on her background in acquisitions, charters, sales, business management and operations.

Outside of aviation, Karla’s biggest passion is her animals; she enjoys taking her dog out for long walks and training her horse in the art of Dressage.

Andrea Jilkova
Andrea JilkovaMarketing Director
Andrea is a relative veteran of the aviation business having earned her stripes in multiple aviation related disciplines. Initially she was in Sales Operations for a major aircraft surveillance company, eventually moving on to head up their Marketing Department. Most recently she has been representing a trip support organization. In between she managed to get some interesting experience selling in-flight entertainment systems to both private and commercial airlines.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Management, and an MBA in Management.

Andrea is very much into healthy eating and fitness, graphic design, world travel, and photography.

Lukas Kadlcik
Lukas KadlcikHead of Operations
Lukas is a trusted flight dispatcher and operations manager. He brings over 12 years of operations management having worked with Czech Airlines where he ran their Charter Operations and later as the OCC manager for one of Europe’s largest trip support companies.

Lukas graduated from The Prague University of Economics majoring in International trade and holds multiple certifications in aviation management by ICAO, IATA and AVTECH 2000 just to name a few.

It may surprise you to know that with what little spare time he has, Lukas counts aviation as personal interest but he also loves being a father of two girls, driving his Volvo and having a glass of good wine.
